A small shop for quiet, warm things

Nesthavi began with a simple idea: the animals and plants people actually love are rarely the ones on the shelf. Everyone stocks slogans and logos. Almost nobody stocks a properly drawn sea otter, a hairy Highland cow in the snow, or a fern rendered the way a botanist would draw it.

So that is what we make. Our catalogue is built around four small worlds — Cuties, Botanical, Farm Friends and Little Critters — and every design in them has to pass one test before it goes on sale: would we happily wear it ourselves, on an ordinary Tuesday?

Printed for you, not for a warehouse

Nothing here is mass produced. When you order, that exact design is printed onto that exact garment in your size and colour, then checked and packed. It takes a few days longer than pulling a box off a shelf, and we think the trade is worth it: no overproduction, no landfill full of unsold shirts, and a print that was made with your order in front of somebody.

We print on soft ringspun cotton with direct-to-garment inks, which sit in the fabric rather than on top of it. The result feels like a shirt, not like a sticker.

What we care about

  • Honest artwork. Every designer we work with warrants that their work is their own. If a rights owner ever tells us otherwise, we take the listing down first and discuss it afterwards.
  • Honest timelines. We publish production time and shipping time separately, because rolling them into one flattering number would not be true.
  • Honest pricing. The figure at checkout is the figure you pay. No handling fee appears at the last step.
  • A human on the other end. Emails are read and answered by a person, usually within a business day.

If something is wrong

Damaged, misprinted, lost in the post, or simply not what the page promised — we reprint it or refund it, free, and in almost every case you keep the original. The full detail lives on our Returns, Refunds & Replacements and Customer Protection pages.

Say hello

Questions about a design, a size, or an order in progress are all welcome. Our contact page has the details, and we would genuinely rather hear from you before you buy than after.
